The hardworking taxpayers of Minnesota have been through a lot over the past two years. The Democrat-controlled state government raised taxes by over $2 billion and state spending by over $4 billion.
I will fight for increased property tax relief, lowering income taxes, and reduction in the complexity of the tax code.
Instead of spending nearly $90 million -of your money- on projects like a new building for legislatures, I will work to ensure state spending reflects the priorities of this district, including education and transportation. We need to return fiscal responsibility to St. Paul.
